The facility was constructed using concrete tilt-up walls, structural steel roof framing, and metal decks that are integrated with concrete masonry partitions. The interior of the facility is divided into four lab spaces that range from 3,787 to 5,071 square feet and are placed for convenient access to overhead doors and outdoor storage spaces and showcase exposed roof structures.
Adjacent to the labs are offices, classrooms, tool rooms, and restrooms that facilitate seamless functionality. Placing offices and classrooms alongside the labs provides visual accessibility and proximity. Every lab comes equipped with an office space that can house two staff members, allowing for efficient supervision and guidance.
The facility features five classrooms, each capable of accommodating 20 students. Designed with polished concrete floors and exposed structures, these classrooms contribute to the industrial aesthetic of the facility. Mezzanine spaces above classrooms and offices provide ample storage solutions and extra classroom space or offices as needed.
In summary, the Industrial Technology Center is a cutting-edge facility that caters to the needs of those seeking specialized trade programs.
